We present a case of vaginocutaneous fistula 10 years after pelvic floor reconstruction using transvaginal mesh implantation. The female patient in her mid-60s presented with typical symptoms of perianal abscess. After undergoing three surgical operations, the perianal infection was shown to be due to the implanted mesh as a late complication of the reconstruction.
